Essential Digital Health for the Underserved: Why? What? How?

The Technologies in Emergency Care (TEC) conference is back!

This year, in partnership with key stakeholder organizations, TEC focuses its attention on the important and rapidly changing sector of health care throughout BC and nation-wide: Digital Health.

What is TEC? TEC aims to bring clinicians, patients, caregivers, policy makers, and other key stakeholders together to inform future policy and transform digital health into an effective part of our healthcare system that works for all patients and providers. Our focus will be to co-define with our conference participants essential digital health while advocating for health equity by contextualizing effective digital health for the most vulnerable populations.

How does it work? TEC will be a key focal point to solicit input, consult, and welcome feedback from a broad audience on their perspectives on how digital health can improve equity in access to high quality health services in Canada. TEC needs frontline health care providers and patients at the conference to provide real-time feedback to key stakeholders on the barriers and challenges of digital health today. We can then share this information with relevant agencies and organizations to inform policies and practices forward.

Who should attend? Health care providers, patients, clients, caregivers, policy makers, academic and administrative leaders and private sectors involved in leading digital health innovations will come together to have open, real and frank discussions about digital health, how it works (or doesn’t!) and where improvements need to be made.

When is TEC Conference? May 12 - 13, 2023
